Boston is currently a volunteer organization created to promote the opportunities of the Web for non-profit groups for community services in the greater Boston area volunteer Boston. We work to maintain a non-partisan position motivated to serve as a neutral and impartial environment for community and voluntary groups who are looking to make positive changes in their community. The sole purpose of the Boston volunteers is building our communities by supporting our local service organizations .
Volunteer Boston was designed by local volunteer Boston as a solution to fill the void of readily accessible information about service opportunities in our local communities . The basic function of Boston is to build a community volunteer effective online and has online resources in a comprehensive manner that will fill that void. Other existing Web resources are very poor that their buildings are secondary missions of their host organizations.

- Full indexing of all service opportunities- A forum to initiate and facilitate the exchange of ideas and
- A national network for the development of contacts beyond the borders of the city.
Our site has been online since 2003 , after a year of planning and construction. Our organization and services continue to evolve through the ideas and contributions of those we serve. We welcome your contributions you can make through the feedback and participation.

Our mission is to build our communities by supporting our two local service organizations and their volunteer Boston.Our mission is being implemented to achieve the following objectives:

- Educate the public about the need for community service ,
- Linking and organizations that need volunteer Boston and potential
- Integration of volunteerism in the daily routine of life.

Volunteer Boston is based on the principles of community , responsibility, and volunteerism. As a fundamental component of society , each community allows us to improve our lives through the presence and support of those with whom we live. As citizens of a community , we are all responsible for the welfare of our neighbors, who are also responsible for our own. This sense of responsibility should motivate us , not persuasion, to help you feel the need .
Support large populations of urban culture and city life degrade our neighbors in the faceless crowd . It is the vision of the volunteer Boston to return a sense of community in urban label through previous values.
Financing
Boston is currently a non- voluntary funding organization. Operating costs are covered by private donations. Because the volunteer work of Boston entirely by volunteer Boston, our expenses are limited to small web hosting fees . We aim to be self-sufficient and operate without charging small philanthropy advertising fees to cover the costs of accommodation .Please contact our administration of donations and sponsorship information or to request an annual financial report.
